Welcome to our sunny cottage. Located in a garden setting overlooking expansive farm views, it is well suited to family groups, groups of friends and couples alike, as you will have the entire cottage to yourselves. Trout fishing and the Otago Central Rail Trail are all close by, or just relax and enjoy the fresh country air, the peacefulness, starry skies and the beautiful landscape. The cottage is beautifully styled, creating the perfect, retreat, where you can relax and get away from it all.
An open plan full kitchen, dining and living area opening out to a deck and courtyard with an outdoor table. 3 bedrooms, one bathroom and a laundry. Wardrobes and drawers in all bedrooms.
Guests have full and exclusive use of the cottage and the immediate area surrounding it back to a hedge behind which separates it from our homestead and the rest of the garden. As it is located on a working farm access beyond the garden fence is by arrangement only to ensure your safety and the welfare of our animals. Access is limited during lambing and calving time. There is a dam on our property where you can fish for rainbow trout. We ask that fish caught are released and you must have a current fishing licence.
The cottage is best suited to a maximum group of 6 however we have a fold out bed with foam mattress which we are able to use to accommodate an extra person in the twin room. The table and sofas fit 6 people.
For entertainment, 40 inch TV, Wifi, Chromecast, and Freeview, take a book, leave a book (novels), a selection of games, bluetooth speaker. A small toy box is located in the cottage and we can arrange further age appropriate toys on request.
We have children aged 5,7 and 9 which keep us pretty busy, however will endeavour to be available for any assistance our guests may need.
