The Farm Cottage provides practical, comfortable accommodation for workers requiring a base close to Macraes. With exclusive use of the property, there is no sharing with other guests, making it ideal for individuals, workmates or project teams.
The cottage offers three bedrooms, a full kitchen, laundry facilities, unlimited Wi-Fi and ample parking. Located in a quiet rural setting, it provides a comfortable place to rest and recharge between shifts while remaining only a short drive from Macraes.
Guests have full and exclusive use of the cottage and the immediate area surrounding it, extending to the hedge at the rear of the property which separates the cottage from our homestead and private garden.
As The Farm Cottage is located on a working sheep and beef farm, access beyond the garden fence is by prior arrangement only. This helps ensure the safety of our guests and the welfare of our livestock.
Please note that access to some areas of the farm may be restricted during lambing and calving seasons.
The cottage is set up for independent stays, and guests can enjoy complete privacy throughout their visit. We live nearby on the farm and are available should any issues arise or assistance be required during your stay.
